How to choose the right scope holder?
[1] Look at the guide rail first, and determine whether you are suitable for a wide rail or a narrow rail fixture through your rail.
Usually there are two kinds of guide rails, one is the leather rail (weaver), the width of the guide rail is 20mm, this guide rail is called on the fixture: wide rail fixture
There is also a dovetail (narrow foot), the width of the guide rail is 11mm, and the clamp used is: narrow gauge clamp; usually used on I-shaped and other rifled tube steam dogs, crossbows, and pcp (such as condors).
[2] Secondly, the annular part of the clamp is the lens barrel, which is divided into three types: 25.4mm, 30mm and 35mm; the diameter of the sight after removing the thinner part between the eyepiece and the objective lens is called the diameter of the sight. To determine the sight How many mm is the tube diameter of the mirror, and then select the fixture corresponding to the tube diameter
[3] There are 4 types of wide rail fixtures and narrow rail fixtures, which are roughly divided into 4 types: high-width/narrow fixtures and short-width/narrow fixtures
The height of the fixture, one is to pay attention to whether the short fixture can be properly installed on the gun. For example, when the diameter of the scope and objective lens is too large to use the short fixture, the barrel of the objective lens is blocked by the barrel and cannot be installed; the second is to look at the gun. comfort and aesthetics.
[4] The clamp is also divided into a split clamp and an integral clamp, and the split clamp is common.
Integral clamp means that two clamp rings are fixed on a whole, and the distance between the two mirror rings is fixed. This kind of clamp looks cool, but because the distance between the two mirror rings is not adjustable, it is flexible. It is not as good as a split clamp; if you choose an integral clamp, you need to pay attention to whether the width between the two mirror rings is suitable for your scope (for example, the distance between the two mirror rings of some integral clamps is too wide to be used in short sights). On the scope, of course, there is also an integral clamp for a suitable short sight)
